Ordinances

We believe that baptism and the Lord ’s Supper are ordinances of Jesus and that true believers are the only fit subjects of these ordinances, and the mode of baptism is immersion in water. [Communion is only administered to Primitive Baptists of like faith and practice. Those who have been removed from Church Fellowship must be received back into the Church before they can take communion. The Church should seek to encourage and exhort such members so as to restore them as soon as possible.]

BAPTISM:

Luke 3:21Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, 22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice caine from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.

Acts 8:37And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. 38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. 39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

SUPPER:

Matthew 26:26And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. 27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
